Elizabeth Fraser

Elizabeth plays with the interface between our analogue and digital lives. Her work sits within text, language & type, along with obsolescence or transience of objects. In developing a notion of the post digital through the futility of objects and the resurgance of haptic skills she explores contemporariness.

She works with hand set type, screenprint, collage and etching. Exhibiting locally, nationally and internationally Elizabeth has work held in several collections including the British Library which acquired her works ‘Theatre of Varieties’ for their artists’ books collection in 2011. She has a BA in Graphic Design and an MA in Printmaking. She lives near Cambridge working part time at Cambridge School of Art and from a studio in her garden.
