Susan Mealing is a Cambridge-based Artist and Printmaker. She works in both 2D and 3D using a combination of traditional and contemporary printmaking methods. The materials she uses include paper, plaster, fabric and wood. Susan's main interest lies with the flawed and disdained and her work embraces imperfection and impermanence.
Fundamental to her philosophy and aesthetics is the wabi sabi belief that nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect.
