Jill Ogilvy

Jill OgilvyJill Ogilvy is a painter and a printmaker. She enjoys the spontaneity of monoprint and monotype, allowing her to work directly on the plate, often incorporating detail in drypoint. Her subjects include abstract landscape and "tablescapes" including pots, jugs, plates and vessels representing identity, personal relationships and emotional states.

Her work displays an intuitive use of colour with a vibrant palette of blues, reds, golds and greens.

Jill has a studio at Cambridge Artworks and is a regular exhibitor with Cambridge Open Studios. Her work has been exhibited internationally and she is represented by Eye Contemporary Art Gallery.
