For over a year I have been printmaking at the Artshed studio in Ware. I am predominantly a landscape and cityscape printmaker and painter but I also portray interactions of children with their environment. I depict light, reflections and shadows and want my artwork to catch the atmosphere of a particular moment.
The works attached show a variety of the techniques I use: collagraph, drypoint etching and solar etching. In December I was selected with 10 other printmakers to show my work at the Printmaking Unwrapped exhibition at the Avondale Gallery in North London.
In the last three years I have had two exhibitions in the Gallery in the Crypt of St Martin-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square, as well as participating in group exhibitions at the Strand Gallery and Camden Image Gallery. Currently I am exhibiting at several locations in North London. Originally from New York City, I pursued a long scientific career in Medical Research in London. One of the attached prints shows a view of the New York skyline that has a special importance to me.
