Alison Hullyer has a degree in Graphic Design and Printmaking and is a professional Illustrator and Printmaker. She exhibits in various galleries around the UK and has given talks and print workshops demonstrating her techniques. She has had numerous designs published as greetings cards. Alison mostly uses perspex or cardboard plates to create drypoints in small editions, adding watercolour by hand. Some of her latest prints incorporate chine-collé made from handmade paper. She also enjoys producing textured collographs and crisp lino prints.
Alison's recent inspiration comes from observing patterns in nature such as seed heads and the shapes of skeletal winter trees and the birds she sees on her daily dog walks.
